In September of 2006, my girlfriend and I packed our lives into her compact car and drove from my hometown Boston to San Diego in about two weeks. This blog was created out of necessity to both document the adventure and help stay in touch with the family and friends I would (and do) surely miss.
Well, we made it. This strange new place, our new home, is simply awesome — and so was the long, dream-like trip. At the time, I was under the impression the whole thing was wicked fun, but apparently it was technically hella*- fun.
I wasn’t able to post on the road as much as I’d hoped, but stay tuned for chaptered recaps of the trek, posts about what we’re up to as we continue to set up shop, and whatever else I feel like writing about.
